Sugar and Spice Pear Martini Recipe

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ pear, thinly sliced + more for garnish
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom seeds
  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 1 ½ ounces pear nectar
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon natural sugar
Directions
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, honey, slices of pear, cinnamon stick, and cardamom.
  2. Stir until the honey is melted, and cook for a minute.
  3. Take the syrup off the heat and cover it with a lid. Let it infuse for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the syrup.
  5. In a cocktail shaker combine ice cubes, vodka, pear nectar, lemon juice, and 2 ounces of the infused syrup and shake.
  6. Dip one side or the whole rim of a chilled glass into the sugar.
  7. Garnish with a slice of a pear.
  8. Pour the drink into the glass and serve.
