Fish Spatula

With a curved edge, thin, flexible blade, and slotted design, the fish spatula or fish turner keeps tender foods intact when you flip them or remove them from the pan.
Typically made of metal, the tool works well with metal and cast iron cookware on the stove and in the oven. It can be useful when cooking burgers, seafood, and small baked goods.

Bench Scraper

Used to maintain a baker's area, this tool can help cut and portion dough, move dough around, work with butter, and clean dough off baking tools and the prep surface.
Also called a pastry scraper, dough scraper, or bench knife, most bench scrapers are made of metal with a handle on one side that makes it comfortable to use and easy to control.

Herb Stripper

Be it a thick, woody stem or a thin, delicate one, a herb stripper can remove leaves from fresh herbs. Some models even include a bowl to collect the stems or leaves.
Many herb strippers include helpful diagrams and graphics to guide you to the right slot for your herbs. If you want even more utility, buy a model with an edge to chop your herbs.

Honing Rod

Used to align or straighten the tiny metal fibers at the edge of kitchen knives, a honing rod or honing steel can last for decades without needing to be replaced.
Since the tool doesn’t act as a sharpener, be sure to sharpen your knife for the honing to work. With routine use, your knives will make cleaner, safer cuts and last decades.

Meat Shredder

With evenly spaced edges, meat shredders or meat claws pull through and shred more meat with each swipe than forks and break down the fibers much better than a knife.
A manual set of stainless steel meat claws has handles you can grip as you pull them through the meat. You can also opt for mechanized shredders, but they can be harder to clean.
