Peaches
Canned peaches keep a consistent taste all year round, are often praised for their sweet flavor, and can be used in dessert recipes such as peach cobbler.
They are also more nutritionally dense than fresh peaches in some areas, as they contain higher levels of vitamin C and folate.
Pineapples
While fresh pineapple is popular, the canned variety eliminates the messy preparation process and maintains the same flavor and tender but solid texture.
It also contains fewer bromelain enzymes than fresh pineapples, which are known to break down proteins and prevent food from solidifying.
Lychees
In recent years, canned lychees have made their way behind the bar. Already peeled, pitted, and in a delicious syrup, they are perfect for adding to cocktails.
However, you can also enjoy them straight from the can or add them to another dish, such as a refreshing dessert soup or a fruit salad.
