For The Cleanest Stove Door Ever, Grab A Dishwasher Tablet

NEWS

By SHAWNA SCHOFIELD

Stove doors are notoriously difficult to clean due to all the baked on gunk and grease. However, using a dishwasher tablet is one of the best ways of getting them sparkling clean.
The tablets are designed to cut through grease and remove stuck-on grime from dishes, while the powder that comprises the tablets acts as an abrasive to scour away baked-on food.
You need a pressed powder tablet for this hack, so get a bowl of hot tap water and use it to moisten the tablet so you can gently scrub away the built-up grime on your door.
Don't soak the tablet or scrub too hard with it, as it can break apart. As you rub the tablet around, it should begin to remove the baked-on grease and grime.
If the tablet dries out, dip it in water to moisten it again. Next, wipe everything clean with a paper towel and use a water-vinegar solution to remove leftover residue and soap.
