Grill Extra Flavorful Steaks With One Spray Bottle Hack
NEWS

Spritzing involves spraying meat with a liquid using a spray bottle while it cooks. Mostly used to boost flavor when smoking or barbecuing meats, the hack works with grilling, too.
To add to your steak's flavor, put a liquid in a spray bottle and spritz it onto the meat from multiple angles while the meat is on the grill, ensuring you cover the whole surface.
If you use apple cider vinegar as the spritzing liquid, it will add moisture that would be lost during the grilling process back into the steak, add flavor, and tenderize the meat.
Spritzing a marinade can also add flavor, whereas something like apple juice will help the meat caramelize while tenderizing it. You can also consider using red wine for the job.
While red wine is an overlooked option, its acidic properties, just like those of vinegar, can help balance out the fat in your steak, tenderize it, and add moisture back into it.
