Each U.S. state has a specific export that it's proud of. In the case of cranberries, it's the state of Wisconsin that claims the mantle of top cranberry producer.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture, Wisconsin has grown 4.9 million barrels of cranberries as of 2024, leading the fruit's production for over 20 years.
Since farmers still use the old 100-pound barrel as their standard of measurement for cranberry crops, Wisconsin's total cranberry production in 2024 amounts to 490 million pounds.
