Here's When You Should Shop At Costco To Avoid Big Crowds

Visiting Costco during the middle of the week — from Tuesday to Thursday, to be specific — is the best way to avoid big crowds and thus make your shopping trip a breeze.
Saturday is the busiest day, especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sundays are traffic heavy, too, so it's best to avoid shopping during the weekend altogether.
You'll also want to avoid shopping on Mondays, as some shoppers make their weekly visit on the first day of the business week. Fridays are busier than the middle of the week, too.
Time of day is also a factor. Shopping between Tuesday and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. will help you avoid the morning crowd and people running post-work errands.
Alternatively, you can shop closer to closing time. An early morning trip might make you face a crowd waiting for the store to open, but it won't be as dense as peak-hour crowds.
Lastly, visiting Costco when it is raining might be a good idea if you're hoping to avoid big crowds. That's because many shoppers tend to avoid the inconvenience of a rainy visit.
