Flying with wine and other alcohol can be stressful, especially when faced with ever-evolving TSA regulations. However, you can fly with wine if you know the proper procedures.
Checked baggage at airport
Full-sized bottles of spirits must be properly packed in your checked baggage. They can't be carried on board unless it's a recent duty-free purchase in the official packaging.

If the ABV is below 24%, pack as many as you like. However, spirits between 24% and 70% are limited to five liters per person, and spirits above 70% ABV cannot be checked.
Alcohol on top of clothes
Unopened minis under 100ml can go in your carry-on in a clear plastic bag, but drinking it is against the law. Check with your airline for additional regulations.
Wine bottles in a line
The easiest way to pack your wine bottle is wrapping it in clothing or towels. Even better is cardboard or inflated plastic packaging specifically designed for bottles.
