Some Aldi shoppers have noted that its in-house brand of hot sauce, Burman's, seems similar to the famed buffalo wings ingredient, Frank's Red Hot. However, they're not the same.

There's no indication that McCormick, the owners of Frank's Red Hot, and Aldi work together. Plus, the two sauces have slightly different ingredients, implying different producers.

Both sauces are made with aged cayenne pepper, distilled vinegar, salt, and garlic, but the Aldi brand lists the thickener xanthan gum, while Frank's lists water.
