16. Yoo-Hoo
Yoo-hoo Chocolate Drink isn't chocolate milk, but it always gets grouped into the same category, prompting us to add it to our list. Sadly, it didn't fare well.
This pale, rather translucent drink has a chalky taste and a strange aftertaste. Plus, it feels like it contains a very small amount of chocolate and a lot of added sugar.
15. Nesquik
Nesquik Chocolate Low-Fat Milk is chocolatey, but the flavor clearly isn't derived from quality chocolate. Plus, the low-fat milk gives it a thin texture and mouthfeel.
14. Great Value
Made with 1% milk, Walmart's Great Value 1% Chocolate Milk has milk’s flavor but lacks the rich texture whole milk offers. Plus, there isn't nearly enough chocolate.
13. Lactaid
Despite containing whole milk, Lactaid Lactose-Free Chocolate Whole Milk tastes somewhat watered down. It has a rich chocolate flavor, but that seems diluted as well.
12. Horizon Organic
Horizon Organic 1% Low-Fat Chocolate Milk lacks the rich creaminess we love. Being low-fat and low in chocolate content, it falls behind in terms of flavor, too.
