Unfortunately for Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard, its mac and cheese is downright awful, coming with barely any cheese sauce.

At $4.19 per side, KFC's mac and cheese is a decent value, but the portion size is small and it tastes bland and weirdly artificial, leaving a fake aftertaste.
7. Church's
At first glance, Church's Texas Chicken Mac and Cheese looks cheesy and creamy, but after a few bites, it turns out to just be covered in congealed, tasteless cheese.
6. Popeyes
Popeyes' mac and cheese lacks the prominent artificial flavor that KFC and Church's have, and has a better cheese flavor and a creamy sauce, but it's still not great.
5. Noodles & Company
Noodles & Company's mac and cheese is creamy, has a fantastic flavor, and the noodles are cooked to the ideal al dente texture. However, it's a bit bland.
