If you’re looking for a simple, delicious appetizer, you’re in luck. Your air fryer plus quartered peppers and cheese equals a quick and versatile snack: fried pepper poppers.
To make this delicious appetizer, slice up your favorite peppers so that they're about 1½ to 2 inches across and open-faced, then remove the seeds before stuffing them.
Spread cream or Boursin cheese in the middle of the pepper, then pop it in the air fryer for five to 10 minutes. To really up the ante, use gourmet cheese like Brie or feta.
For additional flavor, you can stuff an umami cheese ball inside your peppers, add panko breadcrumbs to the cheese, or sprinkle grated Parmesan to turn them golden brown on top.
