While canned tuna is a popular addition to salads, there's another affordable canned fish that will help you shake

Not only is it one of the best cheap fish you can buy, but it also has a milder fishy aroma and taste. Even so, it's still incredibly rich thanks to its high fat content.
Packaged as fillets, tinned mackerel looks appetizing for a better presentation and makes each bite feel substantial. This can be a nice change if you're used to extra flaky tuna.
For more richness and flavor, look for fish that is smoked or flavored or packed in olive oil. You can also find some varieties that are lightly charred before being preserved.
