Packaged bacon is a popular choice for everyday cooking, but it can accumulate moisture inside the packaging, making it slightly inconvenient to handle.
To prevent this and maintain prolonged freshness, simply transfer the bacon from its original packaging and wrap it in parchment paper.
Start by placing a sheet of parchment paper on your counter. Next, lay the strips of bacon onto the paper vertically, leaving an inch of space between each piece.
After filling up the paper, gently roll everything from the bottom of the sheet, tight enough to keep the bacon in place without breaking the paper.
Once this has been achieved, use a pair of scissors to cut through the gaps between the bacon. Then, store it in a zip-top bag or a plastic container in the refrigerator.
