Upgrade Your Tuna Sandwich With Sushi Ginger

NEWS

By MEGAN LIM
The flavors of sushi ginger come from the plant root being marinated in a mixture of sugar and vinegar, and you can use it to enhance the taste of a good ol' tuna sandwich.
Add sushi ginger in the same way you would add relish or pickles to your food. The ginger will add a slight crunch to the sandwich and its warm spice will pair well with tuna.
Place thin pieces of pickled ginger, whether chopped, shredded, or sliced, as the top layer of your sandwich, or add it directly into your mix of tuna, mayo, and other condiments.
