In Sweden, the idiom "Att glida in på en räkamacka," translating to "to slide in on a shrimp sandwich," is directed towards those who don't have to work hard for their success.

Räkamacka is an open-faced sandwich with shrimp or prawns, hard-boiled eggs, lettuce, dill, tomatoes, and cucumbers. It holds particular significance in Swedish culture.

Historically, shrimp were a food for Sweden's upper class, including nobility. Eating a shrimp sandwich would be seen as a status symbol of sorts, and it has retained that context.

It's not the only version of this metaphor in Sweden. On the opposite end of the spectrum, one might say that "it was no prawn sandwich," to imply that something took hard work.
