Kale

Caesar salad with kale is a surprising and fun way to present kale. Choose a variety that lends itself well to raw treatment, such as Tuscan or lacinto kale.
Prior to assembling your salad, pull the leaves from the stems and massage them with a little salt and lemon juice to soften the fibers, making the kale easier to chew.

Watermelon Salad

A watermelon, feta, and mint salad is an exciting way to serve up the summer fruit and make use of the mint plant sitting on your patio.
Start by cubing watermelon and feta cheese, then combine them. Chiffonade fresh mint leaves, add kosher salt and black pepper, and gently toss everything together.

Street Corn

Mexican street corn is an easy yet impressive side. Husk your corn ears, slather each in mayonnaise, and sprinkle crumbled Oaxaca cheese, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Wrap the corn in tin foil and grill it for 10 minutes. Once charred, coat each ear with Mexican crema, mayonnaise, lime juice, Oaxaca cheese, cilantro, and chili powder.

Peaches

Peaches and other stone fruit lend themselves well to both sweet and savory applications, making them a perfect barbecue side or dessert.
Halve your peaches and remove the central pit. Grill the peaches over the flame for about four minutes; with or without a brush of olive oil, a sprinkling of sugar, or any spices.

Banana Splits

Banana splits made for the grill are fun, nostalgic, and make cleanup a breeze. Start by placing the bananas in foil and slicing them lengthwise.
Stuff with chocolate chips, nuts, strawberries, and marshmallows, then close the foil. Place the bananas directly on the grill for about five minutes before adding your toppings.
