Why Costco's Food Court Chicken Bakes Aren't As Tasty Anymore

While shoppers continue to love Costco’s food court pizzas and inflation-resistant hot dogs, they have recently noticed a decline in the quality of Costco’s beloved chicken bakes.
Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic, rumors have spread online that Costco’s chicken bakes were getting smaller, and were dry and bland compared to their former selves.
These rumors were seemingly confirmed on Reddit, where a Costco employee explained that the chicken bakes, which were once made from scratch, are now made using frozen packs.
Some attribute this disappointment to shrinkflation, noting that the new chicken bakes are smaller with less filling. However, details about their supplier remain unknown.
