Why Tin Foil Is The Secret To Best Corn On The Cob

For more flavorful corn on the cob, wrap the cobs in tin foil before cooking. This way, the foil acts as a steamer, trapping moisture and keeping the tiny kernels succulent.
Since the corn's natural juices are contained inside the foil, you can save the time and effort of pre-soaking your corn. It also results in a more concentrated flavor.
Feel free to stash butter, spices, and herbs inside the foil. This will infuse the corn as it cooks, providing kernels bursting with flavor in every bite you take.
Grilling corn in foil starts with preheating the grill to 350 to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Shuck the corn, clean it under running water, and pat it dry with paper towels.
Add butter and your desired seasonings to the corn, wrap it, place it on the grill, and let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Remember to flip halfway through for even cooking.
