You Should Really Start Adding Soda To Your Burger-Making Process

Many of us have our favorite go-to preparations for a burger, but there is a drinkable ingredient you might not have considered that can greatly improve the beef: soda.
Cola contains spices like cinnamon, vanilla, and citrus, which pair beautifully with umami meat. When cooked up, the flavors caramelize along with the sugars from the soda.
This will cause your burger to develop a deep and totally unique flavor profile. Additionally, soda has an acidity that can promote extra tenderness in your meat.
For a batch of about 6 burgers, simply add about ½ cup of cola. Recipes often also add French salad dressing, which adds even more depth and complexity to your burger patty.
If cola isn't your favorite, you can try adding other soda like Dr. Pepper, which is rumored to include ingredients like licorice, raspberry, molasses, pepper, and even tomato.
