Emmy-winning chef Giada De Laurentiis is extremely proud of her Italian roots, yet there is one item very common in Italian cuisine that she doesn't like: peppers.

She told Eating Well that peppers are her least favorite ingredient in Italian dishes. She is not a fan of hot or mild peppers, though she uses the latter sometimes.

Even though Laurentiis experiences discomfort after eating peppers, she still includes them in dishes for her family and even in her own recipes in her cookbook.
