Experience

In college, Alli started a literary magazine, worked as a level II and ELL tutor in the writing center, blogged for the study abroad office, co-wrote a regular restaurant review column for the school paper, and was a founding editor of the school's publishing house. After graduating, Alli navigated the industry through publishing houses of all sizes and styles, settling into a niche of writing about food and beverage news, food science, recipe testing, and politics. Always hungry for new experiences, Alli has also worked in sustainable agriculture, winemaking, energy efficiency, outdoor adventure travel and guiding, political campaigning, and DTC eCommerce in the outdoor industry.

While obtaining a degree in Professional Writing with a concentration in publishing and entrepreneurship.
