Emma is a freelance journalist based in New York, covering all things food-related for Chowhound since 2024. She is passionate about using food as a way to connect...and she also just really likes to eat. A graduate of Columbia's Journalism School, Emma has experience covering a range of topics, including human interest, education, and mental health. She is still hoping to find an episode of Gordan Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares which she has not already seen.

Emma has a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto, and a Master's in Journalism from Columbia University.
