Tracy Chabala has over 15 years of professional publishing experience in magazines and newspapers. She started her career as a research intern at Los Angeles magazine, where she performed in-depth research for dozens of food articles. As a food writer, she's written extensively about bakeries in Los Angeles founded by immigrants and the delicious pastries they sell. She also spent five years working in esteemed Los Angeles restaurants as a pastry chef, including the Michelin-starred Water Grill and Spago.

Education

Tracy received a B.A. in fine art and creative writing and an M.A. in professional writing from the University of Southern California.
