  • Inspired by Anthony Bourdain, Zoe broadens her culinary horizon by traveling all over the world to eat as much as she can, from street eats to rarified Michelin restaurants.
  • Her background in food and drink includes stints working at a distillery and working harvest at a winery.
  • From writing about a baker making bread on a remote Antarctic base during the pandemic to a story about bartending at the bottom of the world, Antarctic food culture is one of Zoe's niche specialties and interests.

Experience

Zoe is a food and travel writer currently based in the Pacific Northwest. After starting her journalism career in college as an editorial intern at a local alt-weekly and covering various beats for her college paper, she first dipped her toes into food writing while living abroad in Chile. Since then, she's gone on to write for many top food publications, including Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, Eater, Wine Enthusiast, and more. When not writing, she is probably off somewhere eating, drinking, biking, or seeing the world.

Education

Zoe has a bachelor's degree in theater and a minor in creative writing from Santa Fe University of Art and Design, where she graduated summa cum laude.
